David Evans joined PassAlong Networks as Vice President of Information technology in December 2006. Evans comes with a wealth of large scale Internet transactions systems management, most recently serving as Chief Technology Officer of Ritz Interactive where Evans managed 13 sites and developed new systems and procedures to manage Ritz's rapid eCommerce growth. Evans has a history of leading innovation in digital technologies. He led technology innovations at the National Geographic Society and during his 10-year tenure produced National Geographic magazine digitally, with a monthly circulation of more than 10 million units. Evans was instrumental in the development of Patternstream™, an award-winning database publishing application, used by government, financial institutions, and B2B sectors for the production of large volume database-driven publishing projects. Additionally, Evans worked at Picture Network, Inc., where he developed and deployed media technologies for licensing images and music online.

Evans has in-depth experience in all areas of print and online digital production including archival, database management, financial and operations management. He has also implemented Sarbanes-Oxley corporate governance controls and processes at RitzInteractive.
