PassAlong Networks Adds Chief Scientist David R. Oppenheimer Oppenheimer to head up evaluation, licensing and acquisition of technologies Franklin, Tenn. — Sept. 12, 2006 — PassAlong Networks™, an innovative leader in the digital media marketplace, announced today that David Oppenheimer has joined the company as Chief Scientist. His primary role will be to evaluate new technologies and guide the licensing and acquisition of these technologies. "PassAlong Networks is all about digital media innovation," said CEO David Jaworski. "While the majority of our focus is developing technologies internally, we are also constantly reviewing technologies that we can license or acquire. David Oppenheimer's knowledge, experience, and contacts in this area have already made an impact for us." Oppenheimer has spent more than 25 years in the areas of technology transfer, including data compression, encryption, DRM, digital content transaction modeling, advanced imaging, remote sensing, and nanotechnology. Oppenheimer has consulted with U.S. defense agencies in the areas of nuclear, biologic and chemical threats. Most recently he served as President of National Sensor Corporation which licensed Government-funded technologies. Past experience has been with Hewlett Packard, Racal Communications, NEC, Adaptec, and NASA Ames Research Center. "I look at the digital media business and some of the challenges involved," said Oppenheimer," and I can draw parallels to past problems solved in the government and aerospace sectors. I look forward to exploring the application of some of these technologies to solve tomorrow's digital media problems."
